Topwater Grill

I'm not big on seafood, but this place made me want more. The view of the bay is beautiful, with outside seating on the dock. The bathrooms were nice, amd so was the bar. We enjoyed a nice Shiner bock with our meals. Attached are pictures (sorry we started eating before we took the pictures, but we were starving and ready to eat) I had the pecan crusted red snapper, it was AMAZING! Flaky, most, booming with flavor. It came with rice and mixed veggies and a lemon butter cream sauce. This is what you want!!! She had Mahi Mahi avocado, she doesn't do well describing foods, but I can always tell if it's a slam dunk or not because she will chew silently and give me one of these 🤌 Try the stuffed mushroom caps, filled with shredded crab and topped with cheese. And key lime pie for dessert!!!

Atmosphere here is always good and clean. Friendly staffs. Good selections of food. Reasonable prices. What's not to like? Will come here again.

I could stop my review at Royal Red Shrimp and anyone who has had them knows the rest of this restaurant food is gonna be EXCELLENT. Top Water did not disappoint in all of my 10 visits. I live in far far north Houston and I will drive the 1hr plus to come here. The staff is friendly, attentive and well versed on the menu. Every time I come here I try something different except I will always order the Royal Reds and 1 grilled Mahi Fish taco. The prices are very reasonable and portion size perfect. The seafood is so fresh. They have cute outdoor seating on rocking benches along the dock. I posted some photos of our last visit. Sautéed crab claws in their parmesan sauce, Mahi taco, seafood plates.

Wonderful experience overall. Such a Beautiful day and wanted a nice meal outdoors and this was the perfect place for that. No wait for table, only a line to get the hostess desk. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious and not overpriced. Can't wait to go again.

Really nice view sitting by water. We sit outside. We ordered stuffed flounder. Very little flounder and it was overwhelmed by rich sauce & stuffing. The torpedoes appetizer reaaly good
