Topnotch Island Flavor Kitchen

This place is for real Jamaica 🇯🇲 in Phoenix! We were blown away by the flavors! Everything we ordered was amazing! We had sweet and spicy wings, fried plantains, beef oxtail, jerl chicken, fried rice jerk chicken and pineapple ginger drink. I thought the fried rice jerk chicken was pretty dang good, but my friend said that the beef oxtail he was eating was cooked TO PERFECTION! Highly recommend checking this place out! The only thing better than the food are the people working here!

So I just went there literally about half hour ago for the first time and I ordered the jerk chicken tacos. If this is how the rest of the food taste sign me up! Definitely real Jamaican food! I don't know what those other spots out here are doing, but this is the one!

I came here because of the high rating and it didn’t disappoint. Got the jerk chicken w/ coconut rice and slaw and it was all sooooo good. Might be the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had. The jerk was just spicy enough to get the nose running but wasn’t overly spicy. And the chicken was cooked perfectly and so flavorful.

This place is great! The food was tasty with just enough spice to add flavor. We had the ox 🐂 tails and the Jerk chicken 🐔 tocos. Portions were more than enough and prices were very reasonable. Oh, don't want to forget the Beef patties which order extra to go. We had the opportunity to meet the owners who were fantastic hosts. We would highly recommend this place.

Thursday evening, pickup order. The order was estimated to be ready in 20 minutes, it was ready in 10 minutes. The items were kept in a hot box so everything was still warm upon my arrival. The jerk chicken kabobs were spicy. I enjoy spicy things but the kabobs were nearly so spicy I couldn't enjoy them. The plantains were very good but overpriced, $3.50 for four pieces of a plantain. I would try other things on the menu.
