Top O' The River

Great place to eat. Love the slaw, onions, and cornbread you get before each meal. We sometimes add some greens. It us all delicious. I had the chicken kabobs with the pineapple sauce, and my husband had the fish. It is all delicious. We return quite often.

I posted a long detailed review but it didn't go thru for some reason. Most everything was great. Service was great. The only disappointments was the steak. It was very bland. And only getting TWO onion rings (for my side). They were awesome but just TWO? Smh. Loved everything else from the sweet tea to the cornbread to the salad to the fried crawfish to the dessert. Will try to get back soon.

This was my first time eating inside the restaurant. We went on a Saturday evening and it was super crowded, but we were seated quickly, our appetizers were brought quickly, and our food arrived in a reasonable time. The food was delicious; I got the custom combo with fried catfish filets and Creole broiled shrimp (peel and eat). Even though whole shrimps look disgusting and it’s a lot of work to peel them, they were so worth it because they were super delicious. Expect to spend close to $30 per person.

Ordered take out. Food was pretty good but not "wonderful". Ordered Crab Claws.

This is my favorite place. The food is amazing. The service is outstanding. The restaurant is clean and cozy. I highly recommend Top O' The River. Oh! AND, the corn bread is the best I have ever had. I can't wait to go back
