Tootsie's Diner

It was just okay. Seemed like this must be more of a breakfast spot for locals - we stopped early afternoon for lunch and only the front room with a couple tables was lit up, the other seating areas all had their lights off. We chose this spot after reading about another local option that had some mentions of allowing smoking, but as soon as we sat down we both commented that there seemed to be a lingering smoky/stale smell here also. Didn’t see ashtrays on the tables so who knows. Both of the drinks we got tasted very off (one very watery soda and one smoky tasting lemonade) The food was fine, we had two sandwiches with fries, they came out quickly and tasted like regular diner style food… they serve crinkle fries which I love so that was a plus! Pretty good. Took a little bit for our food, but only the owner was working at the time we were there. Food had good taste and was prepared well. Friendly owner.

Yummy home style food. Pizza availble as well, take out or eat in. Service is great. Freindly service with a smile. Small town restaurant.

Nice gem we found for lunch as we were driving by. The place was cozy and the staff and locals were friendly. The food was good with plenty of specials for the day. The vegetable soup was a surprise with a variety of veggies in the soup. The soup had a good broth and tasted homemade. Satisfied with this place and will be back if I'm in the area again.

Excellent small diner. One of the best double bacon cheese burgers thst I've ever had! Very decently priced. My wife and I both ate for under $18 (including sodas with free refills) I have a seafood allergy and they made my fries in an air daddy. Very professional service. Quaint atmosphere. I'll definitely return!! Credit cards were accepted!
