Tony‘s Express Restaurant

I stopped here as Ive passed it a few times and thought I'd give it a try. I saw a 3 piece fried catfish sandwich meal for 5 dollars and thought it's a pretty good deal.. it's not a sandwich, I got 3 pieces of catfish with 3 pieces of crappy white bread just thrown on top... The bathroom was pretty nasty too. I don't like giving negative reviews but this was just not it.

Good lord bro, these portions were insane I couldn’t finish all of it, definitely going to eat the rest tomorrow Lots of flavors Fried fish, shrimp, & rice seasoned VERYYYYY well honey chicken didn’t just taste like some sweet sauce rubbed on chicken Still held it’s crispness with the sauce it’s in Food overflows from the container. It doesn’t sit in where there is room to fill. I added a side angle for reference. I ate about 6 pieces before taking a side angle photo 😂

Service was excellent but when I walked in the store had a smell to it. I ordered the hush puppies, sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken over the phone. I did not like it at all and I wish I didn’t spend $31 dollars on it. Refund!

I reviewed Tony’s a year ago, but wanted to do it again. The place is never busy when I go, which surprises me because the food is so yummy! I did try the catfish this time for the first time. It was crispy and flavorful! I will definitely be ordering that again. If you don’t like catfish there are other fish options. I ordered the hush puppies for the first time too. My mom didn’t like them, but I did. They were a little doughier in the middle, but I like that. The wings and fried shrimp are always 2 of my favorites. The wing a are a good size and always crispy and the shrimp is lightly breaded and has good flavor. I don’t usually like fried shrimp, but theirs is good. My family and I dined in for dinner and the cashier was welcoming and friendly! There is something in the menu for everyone! The sweet tea is a 10/10 and my family and I enjoyed the food ! We will definetly be back to try the steamed seafood.
