Tonganoxie Public Library

Most enjoyable place to be. Great people, great events, and wonderful books! Great activities for adults and children. They do a lot for the community! Feeding kids for 7 years. Their summer reading program is the most amazing program for all age kiddos.

As for a library space, it was very nice. There was a children's area that was spacious and set up quite well for kids to be able to use it and retrieve books. It is modern and up to date, even has a TV with a gaming system hooked up, but this is where the praise for me slows a little bit. The Kansas historical society section is sub-par. The Kansas historical society section was almost quite literally a bookshelf. The micro fish was missing an index and the machine itself was in the middle of a bright room that made viewing the film extremely difficult. My parents were in town, and we made a stop at this library specifically to see if we could locate any missing points of our ancestry and were met with staff that seemed like they didn't care to help out or did not know what things were ev

CHARMING, friendly, colorful with a marvelous collection of materials for all ages and interests! Congratulations! IN ADDITION: The Tonganoxie Public Library Run was SO WELL organized ... great/challenging course with plenty of aid stations and LOTS of encouragement from the community!

It was so beautiful inside! Plenty of quiet, comfortable seats to sit in for any age group. My 4 year old daughter was easily able to find books for herself because the front covers were showing! We will definitely be back soon!

Great library! Tonganoxie is fortunate to have such a nice facility. They allow our local Tonganoxie Lions Club to get together here on a regular basis to make about 150 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for Tonganoxie school kids.
