Tom's Place

My summer-long search for roadside eateries led me this week to Tom's Place. As usual, I got the burger, fries, and soft drink. It came to $10.50. It was delicious and the cost was well below the average I have been paying. I highly recommend!!! A few things to note: 1. Cash Only and the nearest ATM is 4 miles away. 2. They are open for breakfast and lunch and close at 2:00 pm. 3. They are open year 'round.

Cute little stand on the side of the road, quick food, dog friendly place, attendant was very nice and polite and helpful in ordering. The chili dog was excellent, the bun was buttered and toasted nicely. So go have a doggy with your doggy!

This was a solid food experience. This is great roadside Americana food. I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fries were hot, fresh, and tasty. The burger was nicely done, great texture, great flavor. Very nice people running the place. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.1.

My hubby and I like to take the scenic route there, sit down with nature, and enjoy their delicious hot dogs with chili and onions. Love that place. Been going for years.

I recently visited Tom's Place and based on my awesome experience, will be visiting for lunch much more often! Convenient, incredible value for price, delicious food, quick but care in each order is clear, and friendly, attentive staff. What more could you want when grabbing breakfast or lunch? It could be a staple in someone's daily routine who passes by OR, I would suggest as a destination visit if you've never been there. Very unique and worth a trip to try. I had a cheeseburger with bacon and MANGO HABANERO SAUCE!! Suggested by Christina (who was wonderful) and it was excellent. I even went back for another a few days later. It was priced like fast food but was super fresh and much, much better quality. 5 stars and 10/10 would recommend!
