Tom's Pancake House

I sat down at the counter and was brought a menu within a few seconds. The servers were on top of it. Very friendly and very helpful. I got the best damn strawberry waffle I've ever had. There is a pile of fresh, real whipped cream on top and that absolutely made my damn day. If I live nearby, I would eat here regularly and I have a feeling everything else would taste just as good.

The restaurant is nice but definitely crowded. Popular place for sunday morning. The hostess was nice but our waitress was in hurry and not very attentive. We saw the pie for the 22 cents, but before we could even ask any questions she brought us our check. When I inquired about their special, she stated " oh, we run out of the cherry pie, we only have apple one, and it's a small little plate anyways" and pretty much walked away. The German pancake was different, but definitely not $16 worth. The omelets were good in size, just a bit greasy and needed more salt or some kind of seasoning. We will not be coming back.

In house made corned beef hash. Highly recommend. Some of the best corned beef hash I’ve had. Hazelnut pancakes seem to be a local favorite. Eggs were cooked exactly to order. My kids say they have the best sausage links here.

The waitress was ok her demeanor seemed like she was forcing herself to be polite, the steak and eggs was not impressive, not seasoned. Steak was small. The chicken fried steak was bland and seemed like it was a frozen patty that was heated up. For coffee they only have the half and half, no vanilla or hazel nut creamer. Water had debris in it. Not impressed.

We went there with my best friend and my 94 y/o mother. Their orders appeared fine. I asked the waitress if I could get the Blueberry pancakes and substute the hasbrowns and toast for corned beef hash, she said that wasn't possible. Okay cool can I order a side of corned beef hash? Yes they have that. My order came 4 tall pancakes blueberry compote and berry syrup. First thing I noticed was the pancakes did not have berries inside like the menu states. It was blue pieces resembling blue something that was not a berry and they were tiny about an 1/8" of an inch. Not sure what I was eating. The cornedbeef hash was not hash. It was inch and half chunks of meat about a 2 cups worth and 5 large pieces of potatoes about half the size of the meat. The potatoes were not cooked the meat looked like
