Tom's Chicken Shack

The buffalo chicken wrap was very fresh tasting. The nuggets were so moist and delicious! The onion rings were crispy and the onion didn't fall out when biting it. 👌 The crinkle fries are what they are. I am not a fan of crinkle cut. They were good dipped in BBQ The hush puppies were very tasty and hot. The strips were good, but the nuggets were better. I will be back to try new things 💯

God bless the owners — what a wonderful place. This is hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The restaurant is spotless, the equipment is top‑of‑the‑line, and they keep the fryer oil fresh, so everything comes out tasting incredible and perfectly golden brown. Service was outstanding and impressively quick. I even had the chance to speak with the owners’ grandson, James, and it’s clear this place isn’t driven by money. It’s driven by pride — pride in great food, fair prices, and family tradition. If you’re anywhere near here, make the detour. You’ll be glad you did.

This place is absolutely BANGING! banging. Take that to the bank. I cannot tell you enough how Josiah and his team take 7minutes (they got a system) to make the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in my life. I’m a country boy and I eat. The combination of speed and taste here makes this gem hidden in the middle of nowhere off highway 17 a mandatory stop. Chicken sandwich 10/10 Coleslaw 7.8/10

For a place with one other person, waited 10+ mins..only to get food that was so cold I wonder how long it was sitting there not even under warning lamps. $30 for a kids corn dog with fries and a 3 piece combo with fries (2 legs and a thigh) and just blah. I'd have been better off crossing the street to Zaxby's. I came due to good reviews but clearly something has changed here.

Lots of activity in front of Tom's Chicken Shack today! If you are this close you better go get some of that Amazing Chicken! Tom's is an institution here in Bartow and can't be missed.
