Tommie's Castaic Cafe

Very basic no frills place to eat. Good options on the menu, but the food is super basic. No flavor and bland. Great service. Very polite and cordial. Parking is nearly impossible to find and get into. It's a small alley next to the building and it's partially blocked by a food truck. Place has potential, but they would need to add some flavor to their basic food.

This place is nothing to look at from the outside, but it’s nice and cozy inside. The service was friendly and good. The food was very good. The homemade spicy avocado salsa was delicious. Worth a stop if you’re stopping to fuel up I Castaic.

Recommended by a friend, somewhat hard to find because the sign is faded away, don’t let that fool you, come inside and enjoy some great old-fashioned American breakfast! Service was very friendly, coffee refills always on time, don’t miss out on the biscuits and gravy. It’s legit.! Best in the area!

Parking behind the restaurant with some street parking. I recommend the pastrami burger as it was recommended to me. The steak fries are delicious or you can get onion rings. Bathrooms were clean and the waiter Rene is super nice and helpful. All around my new secret go to spot off Hwy 5.

Bumper-to-bumper traffic stop and SOOO glad we did! Greeted by the nicest server. Ordered the breakfast burrito (with chorizo sub) and the biscuits and gravy + over easy egg. The best or close to I’ve ever had ! + owners mothers homemade salsa and sauce.. if you’re in the area , stop here !!
