Tokyo Sushi Korean BBQ

Came in for a solo dinner and it was absolutely perfect. 💛 The kimchi pancake… oh my god. AMAZING. Crispy, flavorful, just everything you want. And the gopchang jjigae was sooo tasty — the broth was incredibly rich and comforting. Definitely no leftovers 🙈

We were looking for Korean food and a karaoke spot in Staten Island, and we’re really glad we ended up here. I ordered the spicy pork bokum and it was fantastic, fresh, sizzling, it felt like the real thing. The rest of my group had beef, chicken, some sushi and a large seafood pot, and everyone was genuinely happy with their meals. The staff (Maria!!) couldn’t have been kinder. She was patient with all our questions and made the birthday girl feel appreciated in a very real, thoughtful way. It wasn’t loud or chaotic inside, just warm, cozy, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Tokyo Sushi Korean BBQ is one of our family favorites—we come here at least once a month. Their sushi and sashimi are always fresh and delicious. Consistently great food and a reliable spot for a satisfying meal.

I have been coming here my whole life, quality, people, and decor have never changed and I love it. This is the only sushi place I go to on SI and I don't regret it for a second. Same guy behind the bar for as long as I can remember. I usually only get their sushi and have tried a few appetizers but they never disappoint!

I have been coming here for 30+ years. Moved out of state and now in WNC. But every time I come back to Staten Island, This is the place to go. They take personal pride in preparing the best Sushi consistently for over 30 years. I love that this is a family business and can't say enough great things about the meals.
