We had dinner here tonight, and overall, the food was a bit too salty for our taste. The Sashimi and Sushi combos were good; while we didn't expect the fish to be as fresh as it is in Japan or coastal cities, I’d still give the sashimi a 4/5 for Albuquerque. However, the chicken wings were dry and didn't feel authentically Thai. The fried calamari seemed to be re-assembled squid, so the texture was way too soft. While the papaya salad wasn't bad, it tasted different from what I’ve had in Thailand. Both the Pad Thai and Green Curry were very salty. Overall, it was an okay experience. I’ll keep this restaurant on my list specifically for when I want sashimi.
My wife and I came here for lunch and it was terrific. My wife had some curry lunch combo that was spicy as balls. I had a sushi combo that left me with the button of my jeans holding on for dear life. Most of the nigiri didn’t even need soy sauce since the chef seasoned the pieces perfectly. The seaweed salad that came with the sushi combo was small according to the menu. Couldn’t even finish it, would love to see the regular sized salad. And the egg rolls on my wife’s curry combo were some of the best I’ve tasted. Definitely going back!
I really enjoyed this meal!! The portion was very generous and the flavors are so savory and delicious. I was not expecting such a large portion with the roll but as extremely satisfied. I ordered the Lobster Roll and The Mango Delight Roll and I gotta say they were both tasty and filling!
Extremely friendly and attentive staff! Nicely decorated with a great vibe. I had the Pad Thai. It was a big portion (noodles) however it was a little too sweet for my liking. Greasy and sweet. I asked for extra chicken and it seemed like even with added protein the chicken portion was lacking. The iced Thai tea was good and refreshing.
The food was good and the service was great, however I didn't not like that they automatically add the gratuity to your bill, i generally tip at a higher percentage when service is good but in this case the server received less due to the forceful tip percentage added to my bill.
