Tjs Cafe

This cafe is a huge upgrade from the one that was previously in this location! Better quality drinks and offerings for sure. I have some suggestions that I didn’t factor into the rating because this is a small business that employs students, but that it would be great for the owner to take into consideration. Firstly, having more food offerings other than empanadas, soup, and baked goods would be great. Secondly, if you’re going to charge $1.00 extra for oat milk, please use a more barista-friendly brand other than regular Planet Oat, which is extremely thin, doesn’t steam well, and doesn’t mix with cold beverages—the barista was very helpful fixing issues with the milk quality for my drink, but it was disappointing to have paid extra for a subpar alternative milk. Amazing staff, amazing drinks and amazing food. One of the few places that offers home cooked meals where you can taste the love put into it. The owner is a quality and caring individual and the effort they put into the cafe is felt every time I walk in.

They had 1 worker taking orders and also making the drinks??? Incredibly sad to see them under so much pressure and alone. Definitely invest in adding more staff, this was sad to see.
