Tried their Bun Bo Nuong (marinated rib eye) and it was delicious! Thin slices, easy to bite into and break apart. None of those huge uncooked chunks that gives you a hard time chewing! These were tasty and soft. There are no places to sit, so take-out only. Beware it can get pretty busy during peak hours, but they work quickly. Will be back to try some other dishes soon!
First time here, gotta say first of all the person running the front at the cash register is an absolute delight. Very nice guy, watched him carefully check every order before handing it out, didn’t rush anyone despite being busy and made sure everyone left happy. That’s a lot easier said than done from a place in FiDi during a weekday office rush. Now onto the food, yes, $20 for a banh mi in sf is definitely above average price. But the banh mi here is very special. The grilled rib eye is sliced thin, nice amount of fat, and the char is exceptional. I can confirm this place is definitely worth the hype and the price. I am looking forward to trying the pork and the chicken in the future as well. In short, definitely on the higher price point but for a good reason. The quality and cut of
Really good grilled pork banh mis, loved all of the ingredients but wish the inside of the actual baguette were scooped out to make it easier to eat. A little expensive at ~$20 after tip and taxes but probably on par with other lunch spots in FiDi. Would try their vermicelli or rice plate next
You can't argue with that—lots of meat, high quality, clean, and respectful. It's a shame they don't have a duck sandwich like at 520 Gough St,, which is delicious. I highly recommend it.
I had the grilled pork banh mi, and it was massive! The flavours were on point, and I liked that there was radish, carrots, and cucumber all on it. It gets quite busy at lunch, but I'd definitely return for another one!
