Tin Drum Asian Kitchen & Boba Tea Bar - Ashley Park Newnan

My experience at the Tin Drum Asian Kitchen was okay. I ordered the Taro Boba Tea that definitely needed some sugar or Splenda in it because without it the tea only tasted like milk water. The food came out fairly quickly, but the flavors didn’t stand out as much as I expected compared to other Asian spots I’ve visited. The portion sizes were decent for the price, but the seasoning could have been stronger. The staff was friendly and the place was clean, but overall, the food and drinks just felt average.

You can get a lot of boba tea for the price, but the boba could be better. I ordered CYO with green tea, peach and lemon flavor, and the lemon flavor tasted like lemon powder rather than fresh lemon squeeze. It was really overpowering; I couldn't taste any peach.

I would like to thank the ladies for assisting me with getting the app set up. Sharon walked me through the entire process and was extremely helpful and kind. It’s truly refreshing to experience such professionalism and excellent customer service. Thank You Stephanie for recommending me the Green Tea /Blueberry it was great. Also the firecracker meal was delicious.

This was my first experience here at the Newnan location. I was met and serviced by Sharon! I was instantly greeted with a smile !! I made her aware that it was my first time here and she answered all my questions I had about the menu and made EXCEPTIONAL recommendations. The food was delicious and fresh to order. The Vietnamese iced coffee is great as well. I'll definitely be back !!

The food here is exquisite, genuinely the best ramen I've had anywhere. The service in consistent and they do their job well. And as far as atmosphere goes, it is a vibrant place and the music is not too loud so that conversation is enjoyably had.
