We went within their first few days of opening and was very impressed! I’ve been to their other restaurant, Nepa on Divisadero, quite a few times. This location is just as good! We ordered the butter chicken with plain naan, the chicken wings, and the paneer dosa. Everything was excellent, but the butter chicken and the dosa were my favorites. I also often get their masala chai, which is one of the best I’ve had. I really appreciate that it isn’t overly sweet like many other places. Dessert was great as always, and I like that they offer different dessert options between their restaurants. Overall, this is a great anytime spot that doesn’t feel limited to dinner. Highly recommend!
Absolutely loved it! The same lovely people who run Nepa on Divisadero opened this great restaurant. Slightly different cuisine with lots of good South Indian and Nepalese options. Everything was excellent–from the crackers at the start of the meal, to the curries, to the incredible dosa, etc. My new favorite weekly spot.
I rarely get truly excited about a new restaurant — but this new Indian Nepali Malayali spot absolutely got me going. From the first bite, you can tell the food is made with care. Everything is flavorful and delicious, with spices that make you happy without burning your mouth. It’s that perfect balance where you feel the warmth and complexity, but it never overwhelms. We started with the chicken momos — slightly sweet, juicy, and totally mouthwatering. The sauce that comes with them is amazing and elevates the whole dish. The ginger garlic curry with lamb was spiced at just the right level — warming you like a mild flame, deep and comforting without being too heavy. The coconut curry with okra was milder, aromatic, with long strands of spices that make every bite interesting. Vegetarians,
Very pleasant Nepalese Indian cuisine. Full flavor and not overly spicy nor too heavy dishes. Fair priced and good overall value. Our first visit here during their soft-opening was more than pleasant. Bonus wine also paired well with the dishes
Timur Indian and Nepalese Cuisine in sunset District San Francisco offers an authentic blend of Indian and Himalayan flavors. The dosa was expertly prepared, mushroom appetizer was Delicious , and curries (Ginger Garlic curry, Kerala curry, saag, tikka masala) showcased rich spices. Warm atmosphere and attentive service make it a standout in San Francisco's culinary scene. Highly recommend.
