Timber Town Grub

We finally tried Timber Town and it did not disappoint. The pork was delicious and so was the steak bowl with cauliflower rice. Lots of veggies and good size portion. The pork mac and cheese was the house favorite with a side of truffle fries! We can’t wait to try the brisket!!

I absolutely enjoy this delicious comfort food. I don’t get this very often but when I do I know it will be amazing time after time. From the kind voice of a husband helping out taking an order over the phone to the great conversation while ringing me up… I truly am thankful for the home cooking and great bbq. First of all, the woman who took my husband’s order was so nice, warm, friendly, and genuinely pleasant, which already sets the vibe right. Now let’s talk about the food. My husband got the BBQ pulled pork bowl with white rice and cauliflower rice, and WOW. The pork was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, not dry, not skimpy, not sad. Every bite actually delivered. And the portion size?? MASSIVE. Like “this bowl has weight to it” massive. For $13–$14, that’s an absolute steal. You’re not leaving hungry. You’re leaving satisfied and slightly impressed. Simple, delicious, great value, and good people behind the counter. Timber Town Grub is doing it right, and we’ll definitely be back.

The food was fantastic, I got the pulled pork Mac and cheese and my buddy got the pork tenderloin sandwich, but really it’s all about how friendly the folks are who run this spot. Was so nice just chatting with them, seeing all the desserts, hearing their passion for the food, and laughing about things as well. The desserts are not to be missed. Was a real balm for the spirit after a long day on the bike in the woods, we will be back.

I’m a transplant from the Midwest. Every trip “home” includes stops at favorite joints serving pork tenderloin sandwiches. There are entire Facebook groups dedicated to this Midwest delicacy which I thought didn’t exist west of Kansas. Until today! This food cart serves the quintessential pork tenderloin sandwiches which ranks up there with the best of the best we have found! The pork was hand pounded and breaded. The meat to bread ratio was at least 3:1! You are not in Kansas anymore does not apply here!
