Tillinghast Manor

Just returned from 2 nights stay at beautiful Tillinghast Manor and would like to confirm that all the positive reviews are all true. You will not regret staying here. Jean and Mike are wonderful and generous hosts. Brunch is delicious and abundant. You will never be hungry prior to starting your adventures around Finger Lakes. I think Jean has ability to read minds and surprised us with my favorite carrot cake for my birthday. Room was stocked with anything you would ever need. We never felt more welcome at any other place we stayed in our travels. Can’t wait to stay there again.

Mike and Jean are lovely hosts that made our stay very enjoyable. They provided lots of information about the area, wineries, restaurants etc and even have coupons for wine and cheese tastings. When you arrive you get a bag of goodies and a stocked refrigerator with various drinks as well as a large Keurig coffee selection. This is a charming, historic property with lots of seasonal decorations in the common rooms. The brunch was an amazing multi-course home-cooked affair with products from their own garden. We wished we could have eaten more. All rooms are upstairs and require a climb up a staircase. The location is central to lots of points of interest. Fantastic place. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here four four nights and absolutely loved it. Mike and Jean are great hosts, addressing every need, and the food they make is out of this world. Baked french toast, banana pancakes with homemade blackberry sauce, Amish meats, fruits and vegetables from their garden - we never knew what to expect but loved it all. Room stocked with supplies, beverages, Keurig, etc. And so nice! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We recently stayed at Tilinghast Manor B&B. Jean and Mike are wonderful hosts, very concerned that we enjoyed our stay. They are a wealth of information about the area and if you have not planned your visit, they can provide you with a plan. The brunch they served was delicious and varied each morning. It was pleasantly unlike the usual B&B breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed Jean's creativity. They also have their own garden and much of the food they serve is grown on premises. You should plan a visit here. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing place! Jean and Mike were incredible hosts! Great idea for Bed & Brunch rather than Breakfast. Exceptional food and awesome selections. Beautiful rooms and environment, exceptionally clean. Extensive knowledge of the events/sites in the area. If your looking for a wonderful get away, this is your place. I will definately be back.
