Tiki Joe's at Captree Boat Basin

Staff was extremely pleasant. The food was horrible and extremely overpriced. We got 2 cheeseburgers, 2 onion rings, fried calamari, waffle fries and 3 fountain sodas. Over $80. Calamari was $20 and inedible. They gave me a refund, but the only thing really enjoyable were the fries and sodas.

We sat outside. It was nice and breezy even on a very hot day. Only one server but he was fast and attentive. Hot butter lobster roll was among the best I’ve had and only $20, good size. Drinks were good but pricey.

The service here was god awful… I waiting nearly half an hour to just receive my appetizer which not only was expensive but was very underwhelming for its price 6 mozzarella sticks for $15!! This is absolutely absurd and inexcusable. The bathrooms were maybe as dirty as it was outside in the dining area, as we were about to sit down the servers had cleaned up the tables but also left the table half done and was still absolutely filthy. For $30 you can receive a mediocre lobster roll that a bodega on the corner can make for not only cheaper but fresher and more delicious. I will never come here again nor will I ever inform others to come here as this is the worst experience I’ve had to this date or ever in my 43 years of living.

Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. The staff here have no clue what they’re doing completely disorganized and rude on top of that. It’s like no one here cares about their job or the customers. The bathrooms are beyond disgusting floors sticky, trash overflowing, and the smell hits you the second you walk in. It’s honestly embarrassing how neglected this place is. The employees have terrible attitudes, act like helping anyone is a burden, and talk to you with zero respect. The whole atmosphere just feels careless and unprofessional. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this place seriously deserves one. If I could give zero stars, I would.

So glad this place is back open. My favorite place to go over the summer. The indoor seating is beautiful but you have to sit outside to enjoy the warmth of the sun. Look at this awesome sunset picture I got!
