Thunderwing Brewing

Thunderwing perfectly kept the essence of its predecessor in this industrial space, and created something distinctly its own. The space is cheery and bright with local art, a huge new painted mural, and plenty of outdoor seating. The beers in the flight I sampled were all excellent, with a focus on high-quality versions of classic styles. Nothing too crazy. Six-packs of blonde ale and two IPAs were available for takeaway. I was especially pleased to be greeted by one of the great bartenders from when this space housed sideswipe brewing… same smiling woman with a different logo on her shirt. Fantastic. Kid Friendly Dog Friendly Food Trucks on the weekend I visited this brewery on a saturday afternoon in November and the place was cozy and very family friendly. The beer selection was extensive, 12 drinks on tap. I was not expecting so many options for such a small craft brew operation. I had to start with a flight, my favorite was the midnight ride (American Stout) and my wife enjoyed the blackberry wheat. Like I said, it's family friendly so my kids could run around, pet other people's dogs, play with the board games, and try their luck at the vintage pinball machines. There's a TV lounge in the back so naturally the OSU game was on. I'll definitely be back.

Service was awesome! The beers are all good and I’m glad this brewery has a diverse selection. This place is definitely worth checking out and I hope it continues to grow!

10-16-25 Great Red IPA. One of the best tasting drafts I've enjoyed! Earlier visit-So many beer choices! 5 Beer flight is very nice size oz. It was nice to see the Pilsner. Took home Flock pale ale and really, really enjoy the apricot flavor mellowed with blueberry. Nice indoor and outdoor seating areas too. The sister treated us very well, in case our neighbors wanted to know 🙂. To be continued...

Cool little hangout. Very relaxed atmosphere. The Starseed hazy IPA was out of this world, but I'll have to try a flight next time. They have some board games and pinball. I believe there is also a giant Jenga, so watch your toes!
