I don’t understand how this place is still open or why it has such high reviews. The first time I went in person, service was atrocious and my order was switched with someone else’s. Mind you there were two groups in the restaurant. My mother’s burger was decent but the turkey burger I ordered was so dry it was inedible. The waiter who seemed to be the owner had no idea what he was doing and barely tried to fix his mistake. After being told the food is incredible, the service just sucks, I decided to try this restaurant again. This is what I recieved. Raw burger and raw fries. No one should eat here. They need to get shut down before someone gets sick.
Right turn reveal: a burger spot that’s been in Georgetown forever. The burger is delicious—the bun is soft, slightly toasted with a bit of crunch, and the patty is juicy and perfectly seasoned. There are plenty of topping choices, and the price is surprisingly reasonable, especially for Georgetown, where everything else tends to be pricey.
It was an okay place. Burger was good. It was a solid average place. If you want a burger, it's a great choice. The waiter was nice and he tries hard. I forget his name. Tall, black hair, olive to brown skin.
We went up to hostess stand and asked if they have space for a table of two. There is almost no one in the restaurant besides the bar, and she looks around for a table like they’re fully booked. The hostess then just walks to a table, no greeting, no follow me, no smile, no nothing. Just a cold person walking to the table. After 15 minutes of staring at various ram and deer skulls and no server, we decided this place was not worth it. Don’t waste your time unless you wanna sit in an uncomfortable area for 30 minutes for the chance of getting service.
Stopped here for a light lunch. There's patio and indoor seating. We were seated immediately and the place was less than half full. We both ordered the Sage chicken brochette salad. One skewer of chicken next to a small salad. Flavor was very nice on the chicken, but some pieces were dry. Perfect size for what we wanted, but the price was a bit high for the dish. Service was on the slow side and we had to ask for everything, more water, more iced tea and to clear the plates. I would probably give this place another chance.
