Throop Soups

Super cute little hole-in-the-wall style vegan place, and delicious, filling food! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely worth stopping by for a sandwich, salad, or (of course) soup! We'll be back, for sure.

I’d give Throop Soups 10 stars if I could. Every thing I’ve tasted here has been delicious and made with love and care. I’m not vegan and I LOVE all of the menu items. Lynn and Eddie know how to feed you and you can tell they love sharing their lifestyle and knowledge with everyone. If you’re in the Dunmore or Throop area, you need to check Throop Soups out.

I'm reviewing this spot as someone who is not vegetarian or vegan - and it's DELICIOUS! I stopped by Throop Soups after seeing them in Instagram and was thoroughly impressed with their offerings. Everything from the drinks to the food were well done using quality ingredients. I appreciate their commitment to working with local vendors as well. The owners are also very nice and are clearly committed to their cause. I highly recommended stopping in, even if it's just for moment of zen amongst the plants with a fresh pressed juice and a cookie.

So cute, such friendly owners, and such delicious vegan food. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the kindness of a vegan diet but mostly find it boring and/or unappetizing. Not here! The Sweuben sandwich and blueberry banana bread were amazing. My husband is not usually a fan of anything vegetarian or vegan but loved that bread! We don't live nearby or we'd be there all the time. And my daughter found three cute locally made items for upcoming friends' birthdays.

This is my second time stopping here for lunch -- if I lived or worked closer, I would eat here at least once a week though! The owners are such delightful people and the food is phenomenal 🤩 Today I had the 'Sweuben' sandwich (pictured), which is their vegan version of a Reuben -- highly recommend! Not pictured is the side of Thousand island sauce that I dipped the sandwich in before every bite, which made it more delicious than you could possibly imagine. I also got a slice of fresh-out-of-the-oven banana blueberry bread, which is also scrumptious. Looking forward to trying my caramelized apple chia pudding breakfast bowl tomorrow morning!
