You order your food on the screen you can either pay with card or cash at the register. There was a little bit of a wait for the food. I ordered some lemon pepper wings they only had one wing left so i was able to substitute it with something else. Everything was very tasty the greens the jerk chicken and the mac and cheese i’ll definitely be back

I'm only giving a star so that the owner could see it and make changes. I know Thomasenas food from Rising Sun ave store. Please bring back original Mac and cheese recipe. The one you have now tastes like the box. The sweet potatoes had flavor but were mushy. Even the turkey wings were different they taste likeb not fresh.. Please bring the old cooks back. For a 115 order i feel i overpaid I would have 45 based on quality . Please get it together as far as the pick up features. If I order online wait a half and hour to pick up then text me to pick up is ready I don't want to wait another 30 minutes in line to then be told i haven't bag your food please wait.. Not a good system.

The food is delicious, that says a lot coming from a chef myself. The only thing I would say is the taste of the white rice. It has an Asian taste to it, which doesn’t pair well with the soul food. I would just stick to oil , rice and salt and leave the rest of the flavoring out of the white rice. The rest of the food was absolutely delicious.

I ordered on grubhub and the food was PHENOMENAL! This has to be the best soulfood in philly! We had the turkey wings, bbq Turkey wings, fried wings, whiting, potato salad, black eyed peas with rice, tuna macaroni salad was super salty thats my only complaint. 10 stars! The flavor even made my mom say they can cook! Amazing!

2nd visit 1st since they reopened. I ordered the large portions - Basa, Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes . My wife ordered a side of Basa and wings. Greens gravy over rice and turkey wings.
