I went to the library yesterday and I was feeling itchy there once I got home I saw a bed bug crawling!!!! This place is nice but be careful!! Bed bug alert!!

Libraries are magical in general places, but those in midtown seem to be really, really good. I was grieving the closure of the SIBL library, but this one seems to be a good replacement.

Highly recommended! I am a member of NYPL so frequent libraries in the city, and this is a great one! I also have productive days here, and also enjoyed a free workshop in the computer lab. There are a ton of resources, clean and spots to study here, along with a bonus quiet rooftop. Plus there is an Amy's Bread cafe on the top floor for nibbles and coffee! Yes, unfortunately, there are folks that loiter at the library in general. I never found it intrusive, even so, there is plenty of security and staff at this one to bring a concern up. While I miss the SIBL library, these building and experiences are so different that it's not fair to compare. Enjoy!

I use like a lot the Science, Industry & Business Library Now they close and integrated to this library. Not only is not the same the program the other Library offer where better.This new Library is nice but hope they integrated the same program the library of science had before that science library is a big lose for NYC from my point of view is used to be near Graduate Center. Also security that never read a book like to harrash people for closing there eyes. When threaded to talk to there manager they do it more is a big fat security what annoying men.

Nice library but more like a shelter for the homeless. Cant find a seat cause of them, some of them even scream and yell at you for sitting near them. Also, has bed bugs I was completely scared, a bug was crawling on me and I realized it was a bed bug. They need to be more clear, I cant even enjoy the library.
