Thomas Walton Manor

My husband and I and another couple visited in August. First of all the service and hospitality were outstanding. The beautifully restored home is roomy, allowing us to spread out; a lovely sun room, a basement with a bar and large screen TV and large bedroom suite, and many other rooms to explore. The interior is decorated with fine antiques. I wondered from room to room taking it all in. My favorite part of the weekend was walking around the gorgeous gardens and relaxing in the serene pool. I could have stayed there for days! The whole place, gardens, pool, bathrooms, bedrooms are well kept and very clean! The breakfast and tea were delicious, served in the sun room. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone that wants to experience true southern hospitality at its finest! The manor is spacious and every room is beautifully, and professionally, decorated and the grounds are gorgeous and meticulously maintained. The gardens and pool are a sight to behold; I envy any bride that gets married here! Inside, there is a breathtaking conservatory, gym and game room, as well as a tranquil library, dining rooms and living room. It is located in a friendly, safe, quaint town that I found perfect for jogging. The owners and staff are phenomenal and really know how to make you feel welcome. Come stay here! You will NOT be disappointed!

We spent a night at the Inn this weekend which was way too short!||We were there to celebrate our friends 105th birthday! ||Our room was quaint, nicely appointed and made you feel right at home the moment you walked into it, the king bed was comfortable. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the character of the 1939 home. The property was peaceful with many places one could sit, read a good book and listen to the birds.||Larry, Ron and Francis couldn't have been more hospitable and managed to keep up with the full house and everyone's requests!

I don't like B&B's. This one, however, was excellent. It is in a lovely old historic home which has been thoroughly re-engineered and remodeled to function as a comfortable hotel. They've spent a fortune so that it one can have beauty and elegance and a great hotel stay as well.||||It starts at the parking lot. It's well let, off street, and plenty of it. Already not your typical B&B.||||The place is large, comfortable, well furnished, and perfectly kept. Smells clean, not like cheap potpourri or stale cat. Again, it's not your typical B&B. And, the rooms are large, the furnishings beautiful and comfortable, and the bathrooms thoroughly modern. As was the air conditioning. It's simply beautiful, yet comfortable and pleasant. ||||The grounds are sprawling and perfectly manicured
