Thomas Smokey Pit Stop

I got the pulled pork grilled cheese and the potato. This food is so bland, and it needs more seasoning. The service is fine, the lady was super nice, but for the quality of food they take so long to make it. The atmosphere was nice, but lowkey they need seats in the building. They need better bqq sauce, portions are fine but does that really matter if the food taste bad. The price is crazy for this to be tasting the way it does. DON'T GO HERE, SAVE YOUR MONEY.

I was craving BBQ and was referred to this establishment. Service was wonderful. I was greeted upon entering. However, when I got home and set up my food to devour, I was extremely disappointed. The ribs were not fully cooked (being that they were super thick, they should’ve been cooked longer.). The potato salad was semi watery, cornbread was dry, collard greens had a flavoring that I can’t describe in words (it was just ‘no’) and lastly, the Sweet potato pound cake…(no). I wasted $30 on a meal that I did not eat. And it doesn’t help that they won’t be reopening until Tuesday because of New Years Eve. So I’ll take the lost of my $$$ yet I will not be returning.

Oh we a bit spicy.. little heavy on the price but worth its value slaw is only thing that need to step up game... the meats tenders and delicious and the cornbread makes want to slap my mama

I ordered the Chopped BBQ Brisket Sandwich w/ a side of Carolina Slaw or cornbread, I got both sides.. I, for the first time in my life, didn't drown the Sandwich in a sauce of my choice, I wanted to taste the beef, and was a happy with that decision!! Just pure tasty high quality beef brisket (chopped/pulled) and totally loaded. 5 🌟 plus!! The slaw is made the exact way it should with a nice vinegar ingredient, like it's supposed to be, especially if you're going to preface it with Carolina. The cornbread was solid, a little different than most, very tasty, no dipping necessary. This a to go and catering restaurant, well worth it. I highly recommend.

Shout out to Thomas Smokey Pit Stop. The food is absolutely incredible, perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. You can really tell everything is made with care and passion. the sides are delicious, and the portions are generous.
