Customer Reviews
Just tried this new ice cream shop this afternoon, and it was fantastic! The ice cream was delicious — and SO many flavors to choose from — and the service was outstanding! The owner even brought out a huge multi-gallon container to read the ingredients to be sure I wouldn’t have an allergic reaction. They also have panini sandwiches which looked so good I’m going back tomorrow to try one! 😍
Cute ice cream (& more) shop with many flavor options to choose from. Will need to go back to try a panini for lunch and a "dirty soda", something I've never heard of! Friendly service too!
Got a coupon for this place at WMU hockey for 50%off. Figured I would go with my gf. We went today and the shake and cone were terrific! The staff was very kind too! Definitely will be coming again!
It was surprisingly not very decorated (understandable because I think they opened this week), and kind of awkwardly quiet. I think the vibe would be better just with some music in the background or something. The bread on our panini was perfectly toasted, but the cheese was not melted. The food was pretty good. The peppermint loaded shake was great, and the service was also great. Didn't get to try the ice cream nor a dirty soda, but they had lots of flavors. I'll likely try it again if I'm stopping at the DMV or something else in the area.
TLDR: I enjoyed the Michigan Sunset Dirty soda overall. Imagine a cherry coke, that’s really it. I WOULD recommend you go here and give the sodas a try. I really want to try a milkshake next time. This review is just an honest commentary on my experience and is not meant to deter you from going — I think you should go. Dana’s review was really spot on. I can see the potential of this place but the mission is unclear. It is difficult to find, the vibe inside was slightly uncanny, and for an ice cream place the neutral leaning color palette makes me desire more. I wish this was a destination, but really it feels like a place I might only go to if I’m already going that way. For something pretty niche in the city (dirty sodas), I should feel more excited to try it.
