The Yummy Cakery

I tried two jumbo cupcakes from The Yummy Cakery this past week. The coconut and lemon raspberry that I split with a friend — and they were incredible! They were moist with a perfect balance of sweetness between the cake and frosting. Easily some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. 🍰 (I didn’t get a picture of the full cupcake for the lemon raspberry because I was too caught up in how amazing it tasted before I realized! - Whoops!)

The SWEETEST family-owned cakery in Lexington, SC. Kim, Adam, and their kids pour their hearts into The Yummy Cakery. Kim is an incredibly talented baker. She’s passionate, creative, and intentional with each and every detail in making both beautiful and yummy treats. The Yummy Cakery is your one stop shop for quick on-the-go sweets and one-of-a-kind custom cakes! Kim made me a peanut butter and jelly birthday cake, as well as a custom sheet cake for a law enforcement graduation class of 50. She can do it all. Thank you, Kim!

We are so glad we found this bakery here in Lexington! From the moment we walked in, the owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what she does. We ordered a chocolate cake for my son Hunter’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. The cake was rich, moist, and full of flavor — you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The cupcakes and cake pops were just as delicious and beautifully made. This is hands-down one of the best bakeries we’ve been to. If you’re looking for amazing desserts made with care and a friendly experience to match, this place is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back!

My sister and I stopped in after seeing this bakery pop up on my Facebook feed. The owner was so sweet and professional. She explained each cupcake flavor to us. You can tell she loves baking and puts that into her baked goods. I got the lemon raspberry and my sister got the almond jumbo cupcakes. Our cupcakes were so amazingly delicious. The cake part of the cupcake wasn't overwhelmingly flavored and was very moist. The almond cupcake had actual toasted almonds in the mix. It gave it a lovely flavor and crunch. Definitely can't wait to come back and try new flavors.

I conversed with the owner on Facebook messenger about picking up a pre-made mini cake spur of the moment for my daughter's birthday. My daughter and the whole family absolutely loved the lemon raspberry cake! It was very moist and so delicious!
