The Yellow Rose Retreat

This was a fantastic house. It was close to coffee shops and restaurants. It was perfect for a weekend of scrapbooking. The lights and mats at each person’s seat was so handy. We didn’t need the store but knowing she thought of everything just in case we needed something was just another detail to this wonderful retreat.

I recently spent a night at the Rose of Sherron B&B in Galion, Ohio with two friends. From the moment we parked Margret, the inn keeper, was incredibly gracious and bubbly. She shared the history of the B&B, a lovely Victorian, She and her husband (along with other skilled craftsmen) lovingly restored the B&B a number of years ago. It still sparkles. || I had a single in room #3. It was very comfortable and the attached bath was squeaky clean. My friends were upgraded at no charge to a king room. It also was very nice and comfortable. The charm of the B&B extended to the front porch from which a beautiful old church lied across the street. In life we make many choices. Just a few years ago our family was u stoppable. We thought we were winning. The truth is, success is memories and moments with loved ones and valuing that time. Don't ever take it for granted. I want to express my gratitude in this time of Thanksgiving by helping out the ones that got harmed along the way. We love you all. Our families always suffer the most. Those will also be the first ones there for us when we figure that out. I put faith in God and trust and faith in my wife, Fae Fae and .y family. Now and forever. I'm getting help real soon. So I can be a better man.

Quaint, quiet and adorable. Love going for scrapbooking weekends. Great food nearby if you don't want to bring or buy food to cook yourself.

Absolutely beautiful place for crafters to relax and be creative. Lisa is a great host.
