The Yard Haledon

My husband and I have stopped by The Yard twice since the new owners took over, and honestly, the change is night and day. The place has totally transformed for the better! The inside bar looks so much nicer and cleaner than before. The real winner is the backyard setup, though. They put in a beautifully decorated patio, and having the heaters out there makes it the perfect spot to hang out. The staff was absolutely wonderful, especially the two beautiful bartenders. Without even hesitating, they squeezed fresh O.J. for my drink, which was such a nice touch. Whether you're just stopping in for a drink or sitting down for a steak, this place is great. So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood!

The best spot to come to for sports and entertainment in Northern NJ. The staff and food are amazing. My go to place for sure! Owner takes good care of all its customers! Shout out Tony!

A great local neighborhood restaurant. Never had a bad meal, never had a bad server. I always sit outside on the patio. If you've never been, you will be surprised at how nice and cozy it feels. I also go on the earlier side of dinner because it can take longer to get food later. But, if you want to make a night of it and enjoy the drinks, you'll enjoy it anytime. An excellent date night place.

Excellent local spot. The burger is king here, had a steak that was not the best cut although cooked to order. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, definitely a place to cover back to.

Always had a decent time at this place and the price seemed reasonable until most recently. My companion had two beers, I had three drinks, mind you not cocktails, but Amaretta and club on the rocks. Imagine my surprise, when I got the bill and it was $66! I couldn't see the receipt thoroughly because it was very dark in there. We did not order any food, we were at the bar area, it was karaoke night. And dead in there. I did review the bill when I went home, and I saw that they added a gratuity to it... $11! I had already left a cash tip that night. I just kept thinking I will never go back there again, that I was ripped off. I did call rhe following day, and said that I had gone there many times before and never charged gratuity, whoever answered the phone said that they do charge a gra
