The Windlass

We love it at The Windlass! Although it's doesn't have the atmosphere other restaurants in the lake have, we love the food, the people and the drinks. My personal favorites are the pizza, Chicken Parmesan with vodka sauce and the Berry Cosmo. We love Nancy and Frank, at the bar, and rarely sit at a table. We love coming here to change up our dining experience and highly recommend you considering the experience! It's great off season and even better in season! Enjoy!

The location was what first drew me and my family here—the beautiful lakefront view is absolutely stunning. Dining outdoors was a highlight of our visit. We booked a brunch reservation online, which was incredibly easy, and we were seated right away. There’s also plenty of parking, which made everything even more convenient. Despite the restaurant being quite busy both inside and outside (there was a private event happening indoors), the service was still excellent. We felt well taken care of the entire time. When the food arrived, everything tasted wonderful and was clearly well prepared.

Had a wonderful dinner here with my family to celebrate a birthday. Every dish we ordered was delicious and the service was exceptional. A big shoutout to our server that night, who I unfortunately did not get the name of. She was very accommodating of our dietary restrictions and brought our birthday cake to the table with candles. Everyone was attentive and kind, making the evening special.

We came here for the baked potatoes and were not disappointed. Absolute meal in itself. We also had the stuffed zucchini blossoms and crème brûlée. Everything was delicious. Definitely will be back

Absolutely the best and most consistent restaurant in the area. The ambiance is warm and welcoming offering a wonderful lake view. The service is always incredibly attentive. The food is masterful, creative; yet approachable. Offering something for the most discrimination palate. Solid wine list to boot. A BEAUTIFUL Restaurant which my family and I consider an area treasure! My wife and I just celebrated our 14th anniversary at Windlass. We love it!
