Customer Reviews
Very cute little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a small bar. Food came out fast, drinks were yummy, and the food (I got the cauliflower Mozambique bowl) was really good and filling. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
It was our first time at The Westporter. We have driven by many times and have always wanted to stop in. We are so pleased that we did! You could sit out back on picnic tables, on the deck or inside. We chose to sit inside at the bar. We are so glad we did! We had the best bartender in town who made the best drinks ! We both had coconut mojitos. She told us she had picked the fresh mint in the garden that morning. We had fish tacos and hamburger sliders. Both were delicious! I would highly recommend The Westporter for families, date night or a night out with friends. Great atmosphere and a friendly staff! We will definitely be back!
Food was terrible. So bad that it compelled me to write my first negative review of a restaurant. Sliders were dry and over cooked. Margarita flatbread was bizarre—sugary and what looked to be basil from a tube poured over it. Salad was absurdly tiny, soggy and bland. Ambience was great—go for the drinks but skip the food.
$8 food at a $20 price… way too overpriced for what you actually get. We ordered the charcuterie board, which was supposed to come with smoked meats, but it came with cheap store pepperoni. The Mozambique shrimp bowl had nothing special, just 5 shrimp and rice for $22. And my husband got the sliders, which honestly were pretty basic. I think they take advantage of being almost the only place open late in town. Since you don’t have other options, you have to eat what they have.
The most generic food in town. We tried the sliders ($16), shrimp bowl ($22) and ploughman's plate ($21), and each was as generic, a flavorless as the last. The quality and flavor was about what I would expect if I'd assembled the ingredients myself in the parking lot of the grocery store. The service was fantastic though! - It's just a shame the food is quite pricy, and very basic.
