The Washington House Hotel & Restaurant

We and another couple dined at this restaurant on a Saturday night. Reservations were at 6:30. We were not seated until 7:00. Not a problem because we were in no hurry. When we were seated and our drinks arrived, our server informed us that the manager comped our drinks because of our wait. The food was fantastic. My wife had crab/ shrimp cakes. She could only finish one. I had the short ribs. Outstanding dish. For appetizers we had the breaded calamari seasoned with oregano. Dessert was a very tasty and light cheesecake. Delicious. I highly recommend this place for dinner before or after the show.

Our service was absolutely over the top and truly made our first experience as amazing as it was. We celebrated my husband’s birthday here, and from the moment we sat down, we were warmly greeted and assisted by three different servers who helped recommend a bottle of wine and walk us through the menu options. We started with the calamari, followed by the duck and braised beef for our entrées, everything was fantastic. We finished with bread pudding and espresso for dessert, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and we’re already excited to return.

A lovely hotel with up-to-date amenities and comfort with a historically classy feel! My husband and I felt welcomed and spoiled by the friendly and most helpful staff. First, we were greeted and checked in by Oliver, who carried our luggage to our room and explained how to order our morning breakfast and any other room features. The next three mornings we leisurely awoke and went down for a freshly and personalized prepared continental breakfast, with our cold food and hot, smooth coffee waiting at our table. We had a lovely stay at the hotel - took advantage of the dining package. They had a great Happy hour with a friendly local crowd. Our dinner was delicious. Plus we got breakfast in the morning - total win-win! The staff was also very welcoming.|We paired our stay with a show at the Sellersville theatre next door - a great small venue with a continuous selection of shows. Highly recommend

We were in Sellersville to see The Magical Mystery Doors concert (fantastic) on 3/1/26 and decided why not stay overnight since it was highly recommended to us…This was a wonderful experience… from beginning to end…beautiful room, delicious food and then a wonderful concert at the theatre… The staff couldn’t do enough for you, they made you feel like you were their only guests, above and beyond our expectations, especially when they acknowledged my birthday…we will be back!
