We stayed in a private house that had several rooms, and it looked newly renovated and really beautiful. The accommodations were very comfortable and stylish, making for a pleasant stay. The location is excellent—just a short distance from the town of Blowing Rock, which is a lovely and picturesque place to explore. Our stay included breakfast, which was a self-catered setup. Eggs and other ingredients were available, but unfortunately, we couldn’t make use of them because there was a quiet hours rule until 8:00 AM. This made it difficult to cook something like fried eggs if you want to get an early start, so we ended up skipping breakfast. Overall, it’s a great place if you want a comfortable, modern stay near Blowing Rock, but keep in mind the quiet hours if you plan to have an early

We spend two nights at The Wanderer Guesthouse and our experience was great. The communication with the host was perfect even before our arrival we were given all the info we needed. On arrival the check-in is very straightforward just by following the provided instructions. Our room was relatively small but very nicely furnished and sparkling clean. The en suite toilet was definitely a great add-on ! The shared spaces were also very well kept with a fully equipped kitchen. The area around the house is very quiet which makes it for a wonderful night sleep. This is definitely a place I would recommend if you are travelling in the area.

Great place to stay, not too far from town, but far enough to be away from mayhem. Definitely recommend. As for Boone, come during an of peak season/day. Also MAKE sure you have all info in a note, either paper, or saved to phone, upon arrival, no good cell service (not their fault).

We were fortunate to be able to volunteer for Samaritans purse in the Boone area during hurricane Helene. It was the perfect place to rest our bodies and fellowship with others when we returned home. Fortunately, the Airbnb did not sustain damage. The beds were comfortable and all areas exceptionally clean. The views were beautiful and the sound of the running stream was pleasant to our ears :)

Great 7 room guest house. Problem checking in resolved once we got in touch with owners which was delayed because they live out of town and were traveling. Overall a good value.
