A wonderful, nice new restaurant that you have to try if passing through Chiefland, Fl. Serving up Boar Head meats and their own key lime lemonade, tarty and addictive, and key lime pie, which they had sold out of, but I will definitely be back to try. The chicken salad sandwich I ordered was huge and delicious, I took half home. Big chunks of chicken, grapes, celery, and sunflower seeds on multigrain bread. My companion had the ham and turkey club. Layers of Boars Head ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a fresh bun. It looked delicious, too. Very friendly staff and atmosphere.
This little deli is a GEM! Delicious food and great service. The sandwiches we ordered were freshly made and the cookies were out of this world. The owner Raenette is absolutely delightful and made our experience unforgettable with her stellar service.
Nice little deil/lunch stop next to the DMV Friendly staff & owners..the dining area is a picnic style indoors it's a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Fresh cookies..the keylime pie Yum..sandwiches Big and stuffed full ( you will not leave hungry ) Loved loved the chili Looking forward to returning ( heard several other customers raving about the Cuban) The Italian we had was Huge & delicious...the roast beef and cheese was good ( I thought it needed au jus for dipping or tomato to balance out the richness but that's just me) they haven't been over too long and they're only open Monday through Friday which is kind of a bummer
If you need a friendly, relaxing atmosphere to get away from work or some great food, come here. I can recommend the Gyro and yesterday's special was amazing. The special was turkey, onionjack (delish), tomatoes on toasted bread. Lots of sides to choose from and lots of cold drinks. Service was great. Looking forward to our next visit.
Staff couldn't be nicer or more attentive. Food .... Delicious. We had pot pie soup (pictured) and a chicken Cobb salad (ate before I remembered to take a picture). Both were super fresh and very tasty. Everything seems homemade no from a truck. They also sell Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses by the pound! No need to drive to Publix!
