The Villager

I’ve never been there before the cook or the chef was absolute phenomenal. Did everything have a great sense of humor just a nice person I ordered a waffle or two they’re absolutely wonderful. I cannot wait to go back next time. I’m in town. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.

The food here is amazing! I got the Burger Du Jour as shown in my pics and a part of me was craving a burger, this hit the spot! Breakfast or lunch, you can't go wrong with The Villager! Coffee is also good to have with your meal as well. They are also really friendly here too which makes it even better!

Friends and I looked for a nice brunch place to eat before we headed back from Hammonasset for the weekend. This quaint local brunch spot popped up and it was very tasty. I had this grilled Genoa Salami on a roll and others in my party had the Deviled egg sandwich and a Paradise sandwich. Everyone was satisfied. If ever near Chester again, will hopefully be able to stop!

First time at The Villager. Let me just say...holy smokes, was that a great sandwich. I'm so delighted, fuzzy inside and absolutely hit the spot. Maybe more. This dudes passion is making food delicious and you can tell. From the grilled roll, to what's that kicked, to fresh tomato. It makes you want to put the sandwich down and enjoy every part of your taste buds. Excellent! Loved the decor too. They have iced coffee and iced tea too. Cash only. I was super hungry so I was difficult at making convo but they're awesome at it. I'll be back to try more. Holy smokes was delicious!

10/10 must try. Amazing food and super friendly staff! Try the Farmer's BLT.
