The View Hotel

An unforgettable sunrise, but worth it for the view alone - We spent one night here as a family and opted for a room with 'THE VIEW'—and it certainly lived up to the name. Waking up to a breathtaking sunrise right from our private balcony was a truly profound experience; the sunset was equally stunning. While the rooms are basic and best suited for a short stay, the included breakfast adds good value. ​Pro Tip: If you’re based in Page, a day trip for the scenic drive is sufficient. However, if you want that front-row seat to the desert’s magic, staying here is a 'bucket list' experience you should do at least once."

We stayed 1 night in the premium cabins at The View. We LOVED our stay! The location was phenomenal, the cabin very nice with microwave and fridge, the bed was comfortable and had a huge picture window to look out of but, the best part was the little front porch. The front porch of the cabin offered fantastic views of the Mittens and the night sky!! The breakfast was very mediocre, but gave us something to start the day off. The cost was pretty steep, but at least we felt there was quite a bit of value in it.

This is a great place because you can easily see sunrise and sunset from the hotel. You can take the 17 mile road right out the door from the hotel. The restaurant is basic, but alright. The service was great There is really no other place to eat. My husband had a hamburger and I had a pork chili which was tasty. There is a fantastic selection of Navajo jewelry, rugs and pottery in the gift shop. FYI, there is no alcohol served at the hotel, if that is something that is important for your stay at a hotel.

Monument valley is beautiful, a stunning location. Everything was clean and comfortable Good Dreadful food, served cold and when I asked for it to be heated up it came back still cold. I sent it back again, very politely but again it came back cold. I was asked by a different waiter if my meal was ok and I explained that it wasn't and told him what had happened. He said he would sort something out. Nothing happened, I ate some of my steak and left the potatoes and veg with sauce. On receiving the bill, no money had been taken off so I asked the waiter why and he referred me to an older man named Garrett. I went over and explained the situation and he was immediately defensive and in a fairly aggressive manner said “Well, you ate it didn't you!” I told him I ate some of the steak as I wa

The View is the only place you want to stay to get the real Monument Valley experience! It’s clean, amazing views, great service, great bedding and nice size bathrooms. Continental breakfast totally worked, and the price was totally fair. We were all very happy. They made the Monument Valley a great experience! Thank you!
