Customer Reviews
Overall, the teaching quality is good, and professors are kind, supportive, and engaging. Classes include interesting activities that help students learn effectively. However, my experience with student interactions was mixed. Some peers were not very welcoming in their actions, which made social adjustment a bit challenging as an international student. Regarding administrative support, I felt that the international office could be more proactive. Important information about the Utah Global program and class registration was not clearly communicated at first, and I often had to wait until I personally went to ask questions. For example, I did not initially know that math or pre-major courses were not required in my first semester. Additionally, parking fees are relatively expensive, whi
I don't know if it was worth $120k, but I got my degree and had a pretty good time doing it. Excellent faculty and beautiful grounds and facilities. Except the Social and Behavioral Sciences building! Go Utes!
Today I was at the neuroscience department to get botox injections in hopes it'll help my headaches and other pain. The staff was all very kind and friendly. The center itself is absolutely beautiful. Lots of great art just like at all University buildings. While I haven't yet experienced relief, I've only had two sessions and they say it takes at least 3 to get results. So here's hoping. They have working knowledge of hEDS which can be incredibly difficult to find. This is especially important when it comes to botox as if it's done wrong, it can worsen my condition.
R1 research University in the foothills of Salt Lake City. Olympic class gymnastics team complete in the winter and big 12 conference football team complete in the fall. Great experience all around but I would not suggest taking generals here. The professors are more focused on research than instructing for the most part, and class sizes are very large for the general courses. SLCC has a partner program with the U, allowing you to transfer your generals directly.
It's a nice place, but you have to pay to park anywhere on campus unless you want to walk a mile
