The Tunnel Inn

Bob and Debbie run a magnificent B&B. They hang out with the guests and are always ready with information and suggestions. They are good people. The rooms are immaculate. The breakfast is always amazing with plenty of snacks readily available.

I would leave 100 stars if I could. This is the first B&B I've ever stayed at. From the very beginning Bob and his Wife were amazing. I called and had questions and he took the time to answer each one. My son and I went for his birthday. The extra touches they did for this were so nice. As soon as we walked in on check-in day, they greeted us by name. A quick tour of the bed and breakfast and we were left to enjoy ourselves. The rooms were immaculate and the views of the trains were incredible. The beds are so comfortable and homey with the comforters and the soft carpet. We chose our room because of the views. We brought a blow-up mattress with us. Bob and Deb were more than happy to supply us with bed clothes for it as well. Bob and his wife were always around if you needed anything. The

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay at theThe Tunnel Inn. The hosts were very accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The back porch is a wonderful place to relax, read a book and watch trains. Location is perfect, just a short drive to Cresson, Altoona and surrounding areas of interest. We definitely plan to visit Tunnel Inn again.

A must stay if you are into trains, or just want to witness firsthand the struggle to move freight over spine of the east coast of the USA. Hosts are awesome- attentive but give you space. Amazing covered viewing deck. Rooms inspection ready clean. Individual air conditioning ( quiet!) in each room. Comfortable bed, I slept great- not always the case for me while traveling.Excellent breakfast in the morning. Great collection of railroad books, magazines, and artifacts. I definitely want to come back!!

Always have a great time. We are frequent visitors to the Inn. It is great for train watching. We always meet very nice people. We just visited and had a GREAT WEEKEND. Bob and Deb are great, they make you feel so welcome.
