THE TACO ZONE

This place has some really good tacos. The salsas were also delicious. Nice outdoor and indoor seating and a little off the beaten path for a breath of fresh air while eating. Great for a light lunch or you can order a bunch of tacos if you’re starved. Either way you can’t go wrong with this place.

They are apparently open until 8 PM but it’s 2 PM on a Saturday and they’re CLOSED. I don’t think they ever opened today. Once again, haven’t been able to even eat here because no one is here even when they’re supposedly open. We’ve tried multiple times and they’re never open.

Maybe we caught this place on a bad day. We found the food to be disappointing for a $20/person meal (all-in with drinks and side orders of guacamole). In particular, the carnitas were diced pieces of pork that --- at least on this day --- were rubbery and chewy. It could be just their style of carnitas isn't what we're used to, but it was unpleasant to eat. The vegetarian burrito bowl had cauliflower, zucchini, and carrots, which was unexpected and that's probably our fault for not asking or confirming when we expected it would be fajita-style veggies like peppers and onions. The quesadilla we ordered was super loaded with cheese, and since the tortilla wasn't pre-grilled at all, and so the result was a greasy, gelatinous mess. The beef tacos had great flavor but almost uneatable just too tough to chew. Ordered 2 chicken tacos and they were great. Skip the beef!

tacos are amazing. Everything is so fresh chips and salsa are Fabulous. Margaritas are so good. Honestly Besides, that is so good this is one of the cheapest place in Cannon Beach.
