Customer Reviews
I’ve had the Taco Machine Mobile Catering Co. for a couple of events, both personal and work-related. They’re amazing! They handle small personal events exceptionally well and, for larger events with a higher guest count, they’re incredibly organized and precise. Everything runs smoothly and is done in an orderly fashion. They also have such a great attitude and are always happy to work with us. Miguel, in particular, is a great person to work with. He has many years of experience that shows through his work and the great food they serve.
Miguel was hired 9 months in advance to do our family's wedding and paid for it up front too! The day of the event he was supposed to show up at 5pm to set up and start serving. At 645pm we had to call him to ask him where he was and he claimed he ran late at another event and that they would be here in 20 minutes. He showed up TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATE!!! When he finally got there it took almost 45 minutes to start cooking. By this time the other wedding events (Dances, speeches and even the cake cutting) had been rushed to keep guests occupied. Finally the food is served (very mediocre food by the way) and despite the claims from Miguel that he brought extra food to make up for them being late they ran out of food only after an hour of serving. He was paid to feed 80 people and there was
Let’s set the record straight: your response about the incident with the best man was a blatant lie. You put your hands on him — not the other way around — while he was calling you out for your own mistakes. He wasn’t drunk — he was furious, and rightfully so. He was standing up for his best friend, the groom, who was stressed out because his guests had no food and the entire wedding schedule was thrown off while everyone waited on you. There were plenty of witnesses, and every single one of them said the same thing: you were the problem. Perhaps rather than raising your voice - because you were the one who drew the attention, not the best man. The better and more professional response would have been. “You know what, you are right. We did drop the ball here. I will be following up with
I was recently a guest at a beautiful wedding that was ruined by this company. By the end of the night, the bride was in tears . We waited for This caterer for almost 3 hours. Because they were so late getting to the venue, the poor bride and groom were forced to find a way to keep all of us entertained until they brought the food. Speeches were given, dancing was started, and even the cake was cut and served. When The taco machine mobile catering company finally arrived (almost 3 hours late) the owner was EXTREMELY rude!! He loudly stated that everyone was lucky that they even showed up. They begin setting up what looked like left over food (Taco Bell looks better!) and it didn't even look like it was enough to feed 20 guests let alone the 50-60 that were there! The best man walked u
The Taco Machine completely ruined the experience an my friends wedding. They arrived more than two hours late, totally unprepared for the event, and even got into a argument and tried to fight the Best Man in front of everyone. What’s even worse is seeing a sudden 5-star review appear right after guests started sharing what really happened. In my opinion, the wording sounds identical to a sales pitch all about how “Miguel is so great.” It really seems like damage control, not honesty. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner appears to be trying to cover up what happened. After seeing the owner’s response, I felt it was important to clarify a few things. The reply just proves how unwilling they are to take real responsibility. They’re claiming they were attacked and that guests were “i
