The Swanson

Took my beautiful wife there for the first time today. If you are in downtown Perry Georgia and are looking for an excellent meal than check out the Swanson. Also our waitress Paige was top notch. Check out the Swanson for real down home southern cooking.

My sister (who is in a motorized wheelchair) set a new year resolution to try a different restaurant each month. We started by going to The Swanson. Although from this area, we had never been. The weather was perfect, so we sat outside on the beautiful, historic front porch. The ambiance was incredible. The staff were very accommodating to our need for room, and they were exceptionally sweet while doing so. We loved our service. The food was equally wonderful; all made fresh and from scratch. Everything was full of flavor and delicious! The chocolate cake was the absolute best I’d ever had. I don’t like chocolate cake typically, but this slice will make you want to eat the whole cake by yourself! Will definitely return! 10/10 experience

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Swanson Restaurant was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-tier. Lexi went above and beyond friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure everything was perfect and kept the experience smooth and enjoyable. The food was delicious (see pic for reference 🤭), the atmosphere was great, and the service truly made the difference Lexi is the bomb . Com. Huge shoutout to Lexi for her amazing service she’s a gem! We’ll definitely be back.

Southern styles home style food with very good portions. My husband had the fried catfish and rutabaga and I had the French dip sandwich and mac and cheese. Katie was our great waitress. The food came out quickly. I had the Perry Peach Tea, which is a long island ice tea with a southern twist, and it was very good.

My husband and I went here for our Anniversary lunch date. The place looks really neat, it has a chic, dolly vibe to it. Quite looks and feels homey too rather than heavy and fancy vibe. The chic vibe actually pairs well with the cozy town look. Price of the food is reasonable and portion is just right, again, not like the fancy places that gives you a big plate with bite-sized food and hundreds of garnish you don't eat. Tastes of the food is phenomenal and the fast service is outstanding. My husband and I were surprised that our order came out quickly. I think for fried foods there is a wait time but they have it written down in the menu so you would be aware of it. Service is great too. If I remember correctly, his name is Kelly. He is nice and accommodating. He is quick with his job
