The Swamp Restaurant

Found myself in gator country for work. Our host said if we could find parking we should give it a try, happy we did. The Burger was good but the chicken sandwich stole the show. What ever the sauce is it’s a winner. Spicy but not too hot. We had to get a side of it for the fries. Parking sucks but if you can find a spot it’s worth it.

Food was was ok. Burger overcooked…egg undercooked…philly wasn’t bad. Service not so good. They were not busy, and we had no check ins. We may come back during football season to update review. We don’t need staff to kiss our butts…just basic service. Reply to Owner: Thanks for taking the time to reply. We weren’t trying to be harsh just honest about what we experienced. We’ll come back and hopefully update the review after a better visit.

We've been coming to Swamp since it was in the original location. The food has always been good. We came twice during our visit this time, and dinner and lunch were both delicious. I'm so glad they now have the beyond burger! For dinner I had the southwest salad, which was amazing, and for lunch I had the beyond burger. They have quite a varied menu, so there's something for everyone. Lauren and Trinity helped us at the bar and we're wonderful! The atmosphere is great for families and students alike.

Went on a game day. $10 cover. The place was packed, but not hard to order at the bar. Seating extremely limited, though the servers were quick given the crowd. The game day burger was definitely sitting on the grill too long and I wouldn’t recommend it for the taste, but it came out within 5 minutes, which was helpful on a game day. Seems like a cool place to watch games

This spot is serving up some good bar food and is perfect for game-nights. However, coming here to catch up with a friend was a bit difficult in the loud setting inside. My power wrap was great with the seasoned soy protein and hummus to moisten things up. I was happy to see some vegan options on the menu. Be careful with the sides though as the seasonal vegetable may come with bacon!
