The Sushi Stand This placed looked good so we decided to hope in line and get a roll. The line moved kind of slow and the display of sushi didn't have much inside so they were pulling sushi out from other coolers. The boy who took our order didn't really have any hospitality or inviting feeling, he was just there to take orders. We ordered the Salmon Nigiri and the What's Poppin Roll. What's Poppin was a pretty decent roll, not the best I've ever had but it was fried nicely without cooking the salmon inside which I liked. The salmon nigiri was a little too slimy and tasted like the ocean, not in a fishy way but not in a good way either.. I would honestly pass on this place, if you're craving good sushi, I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to the public market for it.. it was a Saturda

Honestly, so disappointed with this visit. I should’ve asked first how much fish comes in the poke bowl so that was my mistake but I didn’t realize it was essentially one bite of fish until I was long gone. I got half and half tuna and salmon; the tuna was decent but the salmon didn’t have much flavor. The bowl was 80% rice which is what filled me up instead of the fish being the main attraction. Along with this, the edamame was steamed with no added salt and was pretty dry. The cucumber was similar; under the light seasoning, there was no other salt or sauce. To top it all off the bowl comes in a compostable box that seems cool at first until you realize that this is basically the paper straw of to-go containers. Sadly I do not plan on coming back here again; there are other poke places i

Sushi stand. The rice is so delicious in sushi here. I think the pretty packaging played a part in that. The color on the package also reminds me of the sea, so I feel good before eating it. You don't have to dip it in soy sauce because you don't focus too much on the sauce for each sushi. Ginger was also good, not colored ginger that is commonly used, and the table where you sit and eat is not good. I think it would be better to just post it and eat it somewhere good. I recommend you to post. If you go out here, there are pretty murals It would be better to go and see the mural.

Mediocre sushi and very unpleasant service. Ordered 2 rolls and asked for a side of spicy sauce. Guy who took my order acted like this was a huge inconvenience and told me it would cost extra. I said no problem. Both rolls were wrong, there was no spicy sauce, and no soy sauce. I didn’t even bother going back to have it corrected because the whole experience was so unpleasant. There’s plenty of good options in the market, just go somewhere else.

Relaxing afternoon on a rainy day, we strolled into Public Market and found the newly opened Sushi Stand. My kids are not fish-eaters and I ordered Fresh Prince which is spicy tuna with cuc, avo and salmon. (I think it has lemony ponzu sauce on top which I loooved). Hands down some of the Best sushi I've ever had! So fresh! It was bomb and tasty. It comes in a cute little blue macaron box with chopsticks and ginger slices in it, so handy. I can't wait going back and trying the rest. The staff here is extremely nice and accomodating. Highly recommended.
