We had a lovely brunch on the patio on a quiet, sunny Saturday. The atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing, service was good, and the food was prompt and delicious. Its countryside location was also well worth the drive while inspiring views and local farms from which some of the food is grown.
First of all, I'm depressed that I forgot to take pictures of our orders but I will still give my honest opinion. Their mushroom soup was legit, a must have. The Thai Calamari was good but not very meaty. Lightly breaded and came with a nice sweet and sour sauce. My wife's Mushrooms Short Ribs was delicious. My son's Flounder Imperial was good too. My steak was a good cut but it was over cooked. I ordered medium rare and it came out medium at best, almost medium well. Then we have a cheesecake and a chocolate cake for desert. They were delucious. Update: 11/18/22 I have pictures this time. Mushroom soup is still very good. Everything is delicious. Everyone was happy about their meal.
Came here with some family members for their Sunday brunch. It was delicious! They had a breakfast section, lunch section, salad selections, soups, huge dessert table and a few other things. The building itself was really cool as well. We walked all over the property and checked out the old mill and lake. Very cool!
It was happy hour and they will only give happy hour prices if you sit at the bar. There were no seats at bar.So we took a seat at a table. We were served 1 drink and food then the waitress left and never came back to check on us.. we got up, went to the bar to get ourselves a drink. And were told to sit back down and wait for our server. We were not allowed to order at the bar and we could not get the half price drinks. Talked to the person in charge who somewhat blew us off. Told us, that's how the owner wants it and that's how it is then walked away. Waitress never came back to our table after forty five minutes. We left and went somewhere else for drinks. Used to enjoy this place won't come back again.
Food was delicious and atmosphere picturesque. Only drawback is that the kitchen was extremely slow... great for a Sunday leisurely morning and Sunday Brunch but should have ordered on the lunch side after a 1 1/2 hour wait for the omelettes.
