The Steakout Philly Cheesesteak

We passed this restaurant and decided to try it for lunch on Sunday. We ordered on the counter & waited about 10 mins before picking up at the farther end of the counter. We ordered regular portion and the portion was very generous with lots of meat & melty cheese in the middle. The bread was perfect: crunchy on the outside yet soft inside. - The steakout (chicken): the chicken was perfectly cooked. The meat was tender & well seasoned. - The fugitive (steak): the steak was thinly sliced and tender. However, it would be great if they put more seasoning since it was a bit bland. The cheese was melted perfectly and the sandwich was really good. - Mini cheesesteak with fries (kids): my kiddo got half sandwich but it was huge! The cheesecake didn't have mushroom nor onion so it was perfect for

Just moved up to Carmichael around a month ago and this was my second order from here. First time got it brought home and tried the namesake sandwich which was excellent then today my family and I ate in and I tried the steak heist, loaded with a creamy chipotle sauce and sliced jalapeños along with the original fixings. Nina was working the checkout counter and the sandwich line simultaneously and was extremely efficient and genuinely seemed to enjoy customer interaction. A positive customer service experience is everything and she delivered on all fronts. Whether you’re in the Carmichael/fair oaks area or heard about this place from afar, it is absolutely worth visiting. 5 stars all the way!

It was delicious! We decided to split one cheesesteak (the OG), and they put the halves on separate plates for us. The donut holes were also great. They were quick and we'll definitely be coming back!

Great service, very friendly, and we shared the fugitive with a side of crispy fries. Made fresh to order on both our cheesesteak sandwich and the fries. While we were eating they came to our table with two warm sugar coated doughnuts holes. Delicious lunch...good price.

The food was fresh and so good!!! We loved the garlic fries!!! Service was wonderful too! Friendly staff and super clean dining area. Well definitely go back regularly!
