The Stand - American Classics Redefined

The Stand is a really solid spot to grab some burgers and fries. Be warned, the chili cheese fries are a pretty hefty portion. Don’t overdo it like we did haha. Their burger offerings are interesting, but you can also get a classic cheeseburger if you’d rather keep it simple. The staff were friendly, and the space has TONS of seating. Definitely a good place to get lunch or dinner with a group.

Me and my colleague visited this place after a busy work day. I found the place full of happy vibe. We had some cocktails (mango based ) and some beer with fries and chicken wings. Everything was served with perfection and tasted yummy. Our bar attender Alan was jovial and fun to talk. He made some good suggestions for the evening. Crowd was decent too.

It's a standard order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Lots of amazing looking options. I settled on the egg burger. They asked how I wanted the meat cooked (well) and the egg, she offered runny or hard. I of course said runny because why bother ignoring you don't have the yoke running all over, lol. I am always reluctant though because I don't like the whites of the egg to be runny. It was cooked perfectly. Burger was great as well. We also got short rib fries for the group and onion rings. Short rib fries were great. Especially the short rib. Great flavor. The onion rings were good, not great. Why 4 stars when 2/3 was great you ask? Wow was it loud in there. Excellent service and a bright, bustling vibe, but the food didn’t quite keep up. Burgers were just okay, chili fries lacked crispness, the Southwest chicken sandwich was bland, and the French onion soup burger needed a little more salt. Hoping they punch up the flavors.

This place has super atmosphere. Salads are delicious as always (I keep reordering the same Chimichurri Steak) Miguel Angel is very kind, music is great.
