The Spotted Prawn

Tasty - but at $20 for 6 prawns, it kind of has to be. We only got one order of prawns as this is nearly 30 Canadian dollars. There is some covered outdoor seating for you to eat once you've gotten your order, which was nice as it was raining for most of the day. The prawns had a delicious lemony flavour - we ate the entire thing, shell and tail, so a bit on the salty side. I imagine it's probably not intended to be eaten whole, but that's how we enjoy our crustaceans! The price is really the only turn off and unfortunately it's a pretty steep one. Would still recommend.

Got the crab roll with fries. Great fries, And the flavors and textures on the crab roll were great. Really tasty, soft roll. For the price, I did feel a little like I wished there was more crab on it, and I would have liked a few larger crab chunks (it's mostly shredded). But, the crab was not diluted by other ingredients and overall it was very tasty. I sat up top, on a sunny day and you can't beat that. Service was good and friendly (exceptional for Juneau).

Fabulous addition to the Juneau food scene. They’re knocking it out of the park with every single dish. My kids love it. Guests have loved it. And I’ve now gone 10 times since they opened this summer and eaten thru the entire menu. Also it’s such a relief to have a legitimate (and locally grown) salad in downtown Juneau!!!

We had the prawns and the crab roll. Both were delicious. Don’t let the prawns scare you. Best thing on the menu. Live a little.
