This is a such a cool restaurant/bar concept within a few blocks of the Galveston pier. I went on a winter afternoon. It was VERY warm which made for a nice excuse to drive down from Houston and enjoy the gulf breeze. I opted for the mahi mahi fish tacos. The food was pretty good. The quality was about on-par with what you would expect from a bar that serves food. I can imagine that this is a great spot to visit on a hot summer day. I will definitely be back to enjoy some drinks and try some other food options. I'm not sure how great their fried seafood basket is, but it smelled AMAZING. Someone please try that and report back to me!
The margaritas are good, we got watermelon and strawberry. Very good for happy hour 3-5 they were 5.00. I also ended up getting the spot sampler with mozzarella sticks, bacon, wrapped shrimp, fried pickles, buffalo wings, onion rings w/ ranch and marinara sauce. It was really good. I mean the mozzarella sticks are probably like as thick as three fingers. I was like damn I ain’t never seen a mozzarella stick this big. LOL 😂 anyways The bacon wrapped the shrimp was really good, The fried pickles were good, The wings were dry, & The fried onion rings were OK I mean like any other onion ring. I guess it’s good if you have a party. However i got the citrus snapper. Wow. Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The sweet to tangy ratio was amazing. 10/10. I will definitely pay $22 again an
Communal place with a number of bars and restaurants. Wasn't busy on Saturday at noon. Good view of the ocean up to, bars with TV's for sports. Server was nice but slow. Not bad for lunch or probably good for drinks at night that's busy but not too rowdy.
What a great Spot! We just happened to be walking by while enjoying the seawall and decided to pop in for some drinks and snacks and it totally hit the spot! Great cocktails and a lovely view of the Gulf and Pleasure Pier. We also ordered the sampler of their appetizers and it was so much food we had to ask for a to go box. Super yummy shrimp and OMG the cheese sticks!! Loved are very attentive waiter and oh course the atmosphere.
Very interesting! About 5 restaurants in one location. The Spot food was delicious. Order at the counter, sit yourself anywhere, and they bring the food to you. Staff is friendly, but no one is assigned to check on you. Still, it's an excellent place. Highly recommend.
