The Spot at Oakdale Yacht Club

The food at this place was absolutely amazing. We went here for a birthday celebration and the atmosphere the band everything top notch. But beware!!!! We ordered food with the waiter and she added a 20% large group charge and a 7% additional charge on top of tax and tip. I would normally have no issue with this as long as it was disclosed. We did ask the waitress before we ordered can we order with her or should we go to the bar counter. At that point she should’ve disclosed if we ordered with her there would be an additional charge which we would not have minded paying, but she didn’t tell us, and everybody tipped on top of that. Mahi fingers were my fav.. Khaila who was our server for the day was great .. Only negative is the fact that food and drinks came in a plastic cups and plates . Great view.

Me and my family love this place!! The atmosphere is unbeatable – dining outdoors next to the water with live music was such a great vibe. The food was awesome, every dish we tried was delicious. The service was top-notch as well- the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Between the music, the food, and the service, this is easily one of the coolest places i’ve been. Can’t wait to come back!

I was there over the weekend with my friends enjoying the live music. The service was outstanding. The food was delicious and the drinks were just right. The whole vibe is relaxed and everyone was having a good time. People had dogs (will bring mine next time) and kids laughing while dancing. It was worth the 30 minute drive and will for sure be back again! Bravo OYC!

What a difference this place has made! You feel like you are at a resort! From the decor to the waitstaff, they are on point! None of it would be possible without the manager, Helene, running around like crazy to make sure everything is picture perfect! If you have not ventured to this place, it’s not too late! You will be very pleased!
